In January 2023, we underwent an impact assessment conducted by a third party utilising the Housing Associations Charitable Trust (HACT) tool. The resulting report revealed that our activities collectively generated £2,263,755 per annum in social value, a return of £10.25 for every £1 we spent.

We proudly produced our first Kids in the Kitchen recipe book, celebrating the success of our long-standing and much-loved programme that brings families together through cooking, culture, and community.

The book was co-designed with the support of parents and their children and features a collection of global recipes shared by families from our community. More than just a cookbook, it reflects the diversity, creativity, and connections built through the programme over the years.

We are also proud to present Beyond the Game, a double award-winning book and a powerful tribute to the journey of Burgess Sports and the strength, resilience, and spirit of the Aylesbury community. Together, these projects capture the voices, stories, and experiences of the families and young people at the heart of our work.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the diverse array of organizations whose generous support has been instrumental in enabling Burgess Sports to deliver high-quality, year-round services.  The list is by no means exhaustive; to take just one example Surrey Square and Michael Faraday, as well as being two great schools in the local area, provide us with their sites for free to run our camps.
